The Mayfield Sports Height-Adjustable In-Ground Basketball System is the ideal solution for schools catering to students of different ages and abilities. Designed with flexibility in mind, it allows the hoop to be easily adjusted between Regulation Height (3.05m) and Kiwi Height (2.6m), making it perfect for both primary and intermediate schools.
The lower Kiwi Height encourages younger players to develop correct shooting technique, confidence and enjoyment by allowing them to shoot with proper form rather than forcing the ball. As players grow, the system can quickly be adjusted to Regulation Height, supporting skill progression without the need to replace equipment.
Constructed from 75 x 75mm hot dip galvanised steel, the tower is built to withstand New Zealand's harsh outdoor conditions. An 800mm backboard overhang provides improved player safety, while the angled support bracket and telescopic slider make height adjustments simple and secure.
For added peace of mind, the adjustable height pin can be padlocked, preventing unauthorised height changes in school or public environments.
